What’s Inside January’s Glossy Box

SKINCARE | THE BEAUTY LOUNGE – Treat Yourself This Valentines.

Who needs a man? this months glossy box is another special edition, this time they celebrate Valentines with a bright pink box. As always extra effort has gone into this box with complimenting pink shred and grey bow. I also loved the GlossyBox branded sweet.

The Breakdown

Eyeko Skinnny Eyeliner
Full size eyeliner, this is so creamy and very pigmented with a slight shimmer finish, I received Emerald Green which I will be using on its own as a striking liner on the lashline or as a base under an eyeshadow.

Clarins Extra Firming Night Cream
Intensive night-time skin renewal complex, this has a delicate sweet scent and feels gorgeous on the skin. I’m a fan of moisturisers that have a weighty consistency and don’t sink in immediately. I like to feel like my skin is hydrated and still soft when I wake.

Clarins Extra Firming Day Cream

Infusing skin with firming benefits, this made my skin feel softer immediately and like the night cream has a lovely soft scent. It has a lighter feel than the night cream which is great for during the day. The only thing it’s missing is SPF but other than that I was pleasantly surprised.

FAB Gentle Body Moisturiser

Wasn’t a fan of this, it didn’t have a great scent at all which ruined using it.

Murad Hybrids Skin Perfecting Primer
Oil-free primer with a light colour to it which fades as it is massaged into the skin. Leaves a natural dewy finish, left my skin feeling soft and pores looked less visible.

  • Dermal fillers are a collagen material made of synthetic or natural substances. It is used for injection in the dermis for the purpose of augmenting soft tissues. Dermal fillers have had a significant rise in their application for aesthetic reasons, namely to help correct skin conditions which develop as a result of aging such as creases, folds and wrinkles.
