A Sleeveless coat or jacket is the perfect solution to layer whilst maintaining a tailored silhouette.

In a variety of materials, these garments have the ability to keep the body warm without adding bulk. I should point out however, that these aren’t body warmers. Once zipped or belted they lose their classic shape, if left open they compliment the body and create the illusion of length.

This navy wool sleeveless coat is from Topshop, I purchased it a few weeks back but due to the thick material and insulating properties it’s been too heavy to wear in the current weather. As the temperature continues to drop it has progressed to the front section of my wardrobe and became a welcome layer on the chilly mornings.
