Small City Big Dreams
Being
I think there’s more resources and opportunities to grow an audience in larger cities but on the flip side does that mean there’s more competition? Yes and no. Inevitably there’s going to be more people doing similar things with similar goals but on the other hand there becomes a larger community of bloggers wanting to help each other grow. Well at least I like to think, I only acknowledge the positives and side eye the negs.
With all that said I do think the bottom line is not matter where you reside if you want something badly enough you will get it, you may or may not have more obstacles but surely that makes it all the more worth it? whether you live in an area that’s full of competition or not if you work hard enough it will be seen.
So the answer to my previous question is no, you don’t have to live in a big city to conquer big dreams. If you believe it you can create it!
Off topic, but I should probably point out that my hair has a mind of its own and wanted out of that hat…

I do get people’s frustrations on this topic, especially beauty and fashion bloggers who I do feel miss out a little bit.
Many people think I’m mad cos I left London to relocate to Newcastle. I completely fell in love with the North East, we are so lucky to live in such a vibrant city surrounded by gorgeous countryside. I’ve been living here over a year now and would choose Newcastle over London any day, it’s such a special place 🙂
Blogging from the North East as a lifestyle blogger is definitely easier though, so I do understand your frustrations.

Hey Chloe, thank you for your comment, it’s absolutely true. We have stunning architecture here and beautiful coastlines, I love living here just wish trains were cheaper 🙁
I used to feel really left out but there’s a lovely community here too, we just need to spread the word a little bit. The PRs are still getting used to who is up here too, I am going to check out your blog as I love lifestyle ones. Have you been to the naked deli? I have a post coming up on it, it’s a bit pricey but delicious!
Are you from London or did you move then then return? it’s always lovely to meet new people xx
