A couple of months ago I worked with photographer Georgia Claire to create a 20s inspired shoot with a modern edge. I love the darkness and melancholy of the roaring twenties make up but after doing lots of research found there was also a softer more bohemian side like Lilian Gish and Mary Pickford that many don’t capture when re-creating a 20s look so wanted to channel that and go with luxe fabrics,  softer disconnected waves and an un-theatrical makeup. Anna has waist length thick straight hair so creating a faux bob was tough, I curled the hair and divided into two halves. The first half was wrapped around a hair sausage and pinned to the head. The top half was waved and pinned loosely for a wispy worn in look.
