I feel incredibly fortunate to be born and bred in the North East. There’s a community culture here and what we lack in degrees makes up for it in kindness and spirit. We have a stunning coast line, free open air festivals that celebrities perform at, air shows, parades, fairgrounds, and the best nightlife.

The City centre has, and still is undergoing major regeneration.  There’s the Botanist with the indoor tree and views overlooking the whole of Monument. A large highstreet and a smaller side streets with boutiques and hidden gems, designer stores and 1 too many coffee shops!

Not only that we have museums showcasing the incredible talent in the region but also one of the best Universities  in England and picturesque countryside.

I’m pictured here on our famous Newcastle Quayside, home to multiple bridges and some wonderful restaurants. I wanted to take full advantage of the hazy sun that cast a filter over the Tyne and shoot a recent ASOS find. This boxy ridged dress may look leather but it’s actually printed denim!

The colour palette is perfect for the time of year as well as the surroundings. The reason I love this boxy dress is the shape, it’s neutral and feels neither dressed up nor relaxed, it looks equally good with heels as it does trainers or loafers.
