Barbara Daly Make-up
Last year I purchased some products from the Barbara Daly range at Tesco. Barbara is the amazing MUA behind Princess Diana’s wedding make-up so knows a thing or two about great make-up and how to look perfect on your special day.
As I am openly obsessed about glossy skin that leaves the natural texture on show I was keen to try the Facelift and Glow up. I also thought it would be a great opportunity to try the eyeshadow souffle as it marries with the glowing look well.
See the gallery to check how they look on the skin, my freckles are right on show here but I like the girliness of it.
FACELIFT – (This feather-light anti-ageing moisturising cream with SPF 10 is great for all skin types.) This doesn’t feel greasy on my skin at all,it leaves a soft sheen and smells fresh.
GLOW UP – (A luminous, multi-reflective highlighter for face and body. This non-oily weightless mousse is creamy to the touch. It glides on, blending easily to accent brow and cheekbones, décolletage and shoulders. This glow up highlighter has been designed by the legendary make-up artist Barbara Daly to produce great results. It contains Vitamin E for anti-ageing effects and Camellia Oil to soften your skin.)
This is a lovely product but does have a bit of a golden finish so may show a little obviously on those with cool (pink) tones.
EYESHADOW SOUFLEE – This is a light creamy eyeshadow that applies with ease and sets but not to a powdery finish. I only seen 3 shades in store. This also works well as a base.
