Being pregnant means a lot of beauty products and treatments are off limits due to ingredients that may be extremely harmful or too stimulating. Regular teeth whitening products are one of them due to the peroxide content that could prove harmful if ingested. A lot of toothpastes or strips contain this bleaching agent making it dangerous territory.
With fashion constantly changing it's easy to feel bombarded by the "What's Hot What's Not" features or feel lured in by the daily promotion of "trends" online. Quite quickly you may realise you're not dressing for yourself but instead purchasing items with a cloudy vision and once home you become conscious that it's either not your particular style or they don't flow with the rest of your wardrobe.
It's a new Season and with it brings lots of fresh energy. The lighter mornings are energising, the brighter evenings are motivating and the cherry blossoms are in bloom.Spring is definitely my favourite month as it's the first out of hibernation and the home of my birth month. At the beginning of the year I shot with the incredibly talented photographer Chris Davis in collaboration with Mazda UK and Jules B. It's exciting to work with such inspiring creatives, especially when they're from the North East. At the time of this shoot I was 15 weeks pregnant and although I wasn't showing massively I still found it a little tricky putting an outfit together. I wanted to prove that being pregnant doesn't mean that you have to cover up and shy away from cut out details that may expose a little of the stomach.
