But that's a personal taste thing, I did however find that silverlining in the £3 I had wasted by coming up with this post. Now you'll see lots of berry, cherry, oh heck just every shade of purple for the nails but what about orange? most of us associate orange nails with Summer, but what colour do leaves turn in Autumn? Best Beauty Blogger: The NE Blogger Awards 2014
So I have another picture heavy post, this time from the NE Blogger Awards which was held the day after the Halloween party. (See that post here).Me and Rich dashed back from London on Wednesday morning to get ready for an evening I won't forget... The NE Blogger Awards are the first to be held in the region celebrating our local bloggers, with nominations being whittled down to 3 per category for the night. The scale and effort of the event was incredible and an absolute credit to creator Kari Owers and her team.
Couples Halloween Outfits :As Darkness Falls
So last week I attended the DailyMix x ASDA Halloween party with lots of my fellow Gleam people and favourite YouTube and blogging folk. Held in Leicester Square, the party was on the top floor which looked out onto the city's beautiful landscape filled with bright lights and well known monuments. Not only was it great to see some of the girls again but it was a relief to finally meet some of those I'd been chatting to for years on social media. It's weird because you almost feel like you've already met!

As a parent days off aren't ever really days off, I find there's still a million and one things to do but when I do get some 'me time' I like to just sit and read magazines to gather inspiration and get that creative buzz from all the editorials. Getting into comfy clothes is first on my list when chilling out, and this lounge set by South Beach is super cute and unbelievably soft. The pants are slim but not tight and restrictive and I like the cuffed bottoms as being short means these won't drag along the floor.
