ghd Advanced Split End Therapy and V Arctic Gold Styler
As someone with bleached hair I try keep heat tools to a minimum for fear of breaking my already damaged hair. Since I went grey I’ve rarely straightened my hair, I make do with a shaggy unkempt look, a nonchalant wave created by air drying and maybe a blast of heat from the hair dryer if I’m feeling impatient.
I recently received the ghd advanced split end therapy which is a cream that is activated by applying heat. I’m normally very cautious of products that claim to “fix” split ends, but this isn’t one of those, thankfully. This product is more of a treatment that leaves hair smooth and looking far healthier than pre-applied. It contains anti-oxidants with açaí and algae extracts.
To use apply a small amount to towel dried hair wherever you see damage, for me it’s the ends, so I add a grape sized amount to the tips and comb through. Next blow dry the hair thoroughly, I wait until mine is 80% dry to minimise damage and use natural hair brush.
Once completely dry I use the ghd V Arctic Gold straightener to seal the product into the cuticles and smooth the hair shaft. The result is hair that feels smoother, less tangled and shiny.
