So last week I attended the DailyMix x ASDA Halloween party with lots of my fellow Gleam people and favourite YouTube and blogging folk. Held in Leicester Square, the party was on the top floor which looked out onto the city’s beautiful landscape filled with bright lights and well known monuments. Not only was it great to see some of the girls again but it was a relief to finally meet some of those I’d been chatting to for years on social media. It’s weird because you almost feel like you’ve already met!
It was mine and Rich’s first Halloween party together and we decided to do a couples fancy dress, I had seen an image of Rihanna with a bunny veil on years ago and decided that one day I WILL find a reason to wear that, and guess what, this was that time.
The White Rabbit and Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland decided so I got to work making the props. I made Rich a scarf type cravat that matched the band around his hat, complete with ticket. For mine I made these lace and net ears which did take a couple of hours, and the bag which I created out of complete luck. (ASOS box you came in handy!)
The dress was the star of the show with lots of compliments, some thinking it was expensive but it was actually Missguided. Yes it needed about 5 yards of boob tape but it did stay in place and didn’t let slip…
I filmed a little Get Ready With Us mainly to show Richards little transformation complete with white spray, worn in eyeliner and deathly hollows.
Thank you to Asda, Gleam and Daily Mix for the wonderful party me and Richard had such a great time!

If you don’t want to rock a dress try these leggings and go with a cropped top or sweater
