Lacoste L.12.12 Noir Review

Lacoste have transformed the iconic L.12.12 Polo Shirt into a fragrance collection, the shirt itself is an iconic garment created by tennis legend René Lacoste back in 1933.

The clean masculine shape of the bottle led me to believe this would be a deep musky scent ideal for evenings and too heavy for me to wear. The bottle is shaped to be in keeping with the polo shirt complete with material crocodile logo.
I spritzed the eau de toilette onto my wrist and was pleasantly surprised by the light, clean fresh scent it had. Light enough for day and warming enough as a suitable evening scent.

This certainly lasted and the fragrance seemed to linger so every now and then you would get a pleasant reminder of the scent. They describe the fragrance as Intense, masculine and refreshing but ultimately warm and sensual, with notes of watermelon, lavender, dark chocolate and patchouli. – Dark Chocolate! yummy

Richard describes this as the ‘clean’ scent, he tells me it has that out the shower freshness but is equally warming. He is quite selective when it comes to fragrances but is enjoying this one.
