The Make-up Atelier lip palettes look very similar to the 5 pan eyeshadow palettes, the slimline features makes them easy to stack and carry and if needed you can mix colours on the clear lid.
I’m a huge fan of fuchsia lip shades; think M.A.C Girl About Town. It’s Barbie pink’s tougher, edgier, deeper and more universally flattering friend. It goes with a huge spectrum of colours and suits most people. What I love about this palette in particular is the gradient of pinks that go from a deep pink to a pink/purple so you can create that S/S Prabal Gurung stained lip.
The image below shows the pink in the middle of the palette, as you can see there’s lots of pigment considering it’s semi-sheer and the texture is very smooth and light. The first pan is a light pink gloss that contains a subtle amount of shimmer and can be used on top of the other shades to create more of a wet look finish.
Colour Payoff– Great amount of pigment, press lightly for a more sheer finish or use a brush for full on colour.
Longevity– It lasted like most lipsticks.
Shade– 19 Rose Violet
Texture– Creamy, moisturising.
