What has Glossy Box got in store for November? Find out below.
Arbonne Ultra Hydrating Hand Cream
Soothing moisturiser, smells very fresh and leaves hands instantly softer.
Dead Sea Spa Magik, Delicate Boosting Mask
A creamy mask containing pure Dead Sea Mud in a gentle formula, deeply nourishes dry/sensitive skin.
Illamasqua Freak Eau De Parfum
The first fragrance of cult British Beauty Brand Illamasqua, the scent is as deep and powerful as I expected it to be.It has a rich, floral aroma.
Nail Rock Designer Nail Wraps
The nail rock wrap range is designed to last 7 days.I did try these for the first time and had issues with mine not adhering properly and creasing. I would perhaps advise getting them done by a technician.
Philip Kingsley Elasticizer
Intensive, super-moisturising pre shampoo treatment for all hair types I was excited to try this as I have the Elasticizer intensive conditioner and that alone makes my hair soft and manageable.
Glossy Box for MEN, now the guys can try out new products before they buy. Unlike the womens Glossy Box the mens is quarterly and they will recieve 7 deluxe samples. Go to GlossyBox.co.uk to find out more.

I haven’t been wowed by a nail polish shade in a while but Stone Cold by Orly has left me impressed. Not only is the finish creamy but the shade is out of this world.
It’s not going to be new to some of you as some of the bloggers got to see the new Mineral FX collection by ORLY at the cosmoprof events but I only got hold of this a few days ago and have been slightly obsessed by it.
Sometimes I find with shimmery shades the finish isn’t entirely smooth and occasionally a little flat but this is definitely different. See the images below.
The images are taken in daylight, no flash and only one coat.
Colour Payoff– Very pigmented, I was so impressed by the payoff.
longevity– After 2 days it hasn’t chipped.
Shade– Stone Cold.
Scent– Usual polish scent but not as strong.
Have you tried this?
It’s that time again, I have selected five of my favourite shades of gold nail polishes. I have chosen a mixture of brands and most of them are easily accessible in the UK. If you are overseas you should be able to get hold of these online.
Lets start with pictures!
The shades numbered in image 5 of the gallery
1-Beauty UK AZTEC
3-Barry M 289
5-Myface Cosmetics Lil Bling in Gilt-y
O.C.C Crusing is my pick of the bunch, it has sparkle so it hides any sins on the nails such as bumps and ridges. As it’s a cool shade of gold it goes with more outfits.
Do you have any good recommendations?
How many people have asked their hair stylist for a K Middy blow dry do you reckon? I’m thinking lots!
It’s actually achieveable without an arsenal of hair tools or spending money at a salon. I re-created a similar sleek, smooth hair do’ with a small amount of product and one tool…the Instyler.
Here’s a picture of gorgeous Kate, just to fuel your hair envy
So how do you achieve this?
The Instyler is like a million tools in one, well not exactly but it straightens, curls, adds volume and even tames thick course hair!
The rotating barrel is heated as is the plate opposite, it also has 4 rows of bristles so as you place it under the section of hair it heats the hair shaft and either smooths or curls depending on how you turn the styler.
I place the barrel at the root for a few seconds to create root lift then gently pull down towards the ends of the hair rotating 180 degrees inwards to create a soft curve.
I will do some tutorials using this as I think it’s a great universal item, I like that it’s suitable for all hair types and creates more then one look. I have a tutorial to upload that creates the look I did above so I will place the video on my blog very soon so keep looking for it.
